Weekend Warrior
On Saturday night we rented Mind Hunters with Val Kilmer and Christian Slater. It wasn’t a bad movie, quite suspenseful (although it looked like a B movie) and we never did figure out who the killer was, which I like in a movie.
I’d do my shtick here with the invisible words that you highlight in order to read the spoiler, but quite frankly I can’t remember what the killer’s name is, so there’s no point in me trying to explain it; just go rent the movie, you might like it.
Today’s a really pissy, rainy day. I don’t know if you can see it from the computer room window, but it’s not even 9:00 a.m. and it’s dark and gloomy outside.
Somehow I managed to get some more yellow paint on my car’s front bumper (you know, from Tim’s drive-thru) after I’d just gotten it all off 2 weeks ago. I can’t feel the bumper hitting anything!
So yesterday I bought some product called Mean Green Super Strength Cleaner Degreaser to take off the yellow paint – only because what the guy gave me to clean it off a few weeks ago was a degreaser and it worked. I tried using Mr. Clean on it the other day and it didn’t work, so I was wrong when I wrote about that before.
I tried the degreaser on the stove area and let me tell you, the counter looks brand new… it got any of the greasy stuff right off there, so let’s hope it works on my beautiful car.
I’m waiting to hear back about a second interview from Friday’s appointment and I guess I’ll be phoning this afternoon to see if I’m scheduled to work tonight. I’m hoping I’m not with this weather.
I spent my weekend redesigning my online resume. I transferred the domain to Netfirms because I’ve always been happy with their service, so now I’m hosting 5 sites with them. I decided that with the new provider my resume had to have a new look, and I’m pleased with the results. I’d put up a link here but then I’d lose my anonymity, doncha think?
Now I’m just gonna finish my tea, play a little bit of Zuma, and then find something to keep me occupied, like cleaning off some more stuff with that degreaser.
