Goodbye Mamusia

Mamusia's FuneralHere’s a picture from yesterday’s funeral. There were quite a few pictures taken, and we’ve put ours up on yahoo, and are expecting other pictures to show up on others’ yahoo accounts (some that I set up for people who didn’t know how to do it).

All in all it was a good day. The weather was nice until yesterday evening when we suddenly ended up in a rainstorm when we were driving on the highway and having to take my honey’s brother out to the airport.

We made it just in time for him to get there the required 2 hours early – amazing really since the traffic was so bad and stopped up, in part because of the weather, I thought we were going to be late. At least we were home in time to see The Apprentice – that was the happy part of the day.

This morning I went to another job interview. It seemed to go well, but then I don’t trust my judgment any more since I thought almost all of them went well. If it did, supposedly I’ll be called back for a second interview next week. While I’m waiting, I guess I’ll still call daily to see if I’m scheduled for my night job.

I was gonna meet Emmett after the interview since I was downtown but then I thought ‘fuck it’, I’m just not in the mood.

After getting up at 5:30 yesterday (after going to bed around 1:30) and the long day, and then staying up til about 1:00 last night, I almost slept in for the interview this morning.

I was gonna get up at 6:30 and, idiot that I am, set the alarm clock but forgot to turn it on. Luckily my honey woke up at 7:20 and got me up. So I had to race to the shower, quickly get ready to leave for the subway by 8:00. I still made it 15 minutes early, so that was lucky.

Now I just feel like having a nap or something (but I won’t) and in a few hours I’ll go pick up my daughter and then tonight I can stay up late again, only to have to get up at 7:30 tomorrow to head out to her piano lesson. If only I had some shopping money… piano lessons aren’t bad when you’ve got an hour to kill with shopping.

Tim’s do your work.
