For Today

I took a couple of pictures yesterday in the scummy neighbourhood where I’m doing the job training. One was a house on one of the streets I have to walk over in order to get to training.

And this one I just find hilarious, the boxing/fitness club with the gigantic boxing gloves on the outside of it. I guess that’s in case you can’t read, you’ll know what the place is for.
It was a pretty cloudy day yesterday, so it’s not like I ran around taking a whole bunch of pictures, but I couldn’t resist the boxing gloves for sure.
It turns out that the office where I’m taking my training will be shutting down, and all the people who are working there will be moving over to the location I applied to.
You should hear all the jabbering about that when you’re just sitting outside in the smoking area and everybody’s there waiting to start their work. I’ve been there 2 days already, and it seems the only thing people can talk about. I keep thinking, get over it, so what… you’ll take the subway 2 stops the other way instead of 5 this way.
Training wasn’t too bad last night – a little less boring than the first night – and there was a quiz at the end. I’m pretty sure I got 100% on the quiz. It wasn’t anything hard. I guess we’ll see what happens when it comes to having to memorize stuff. This old brain is not too good at that.
In other news, Rex did not win Canadian Idol, and that’s too bad, I was kinda hoping he would, just for something a little different. And Suzie got kicked off Rockstar:INXS, so there’s no one from Toronto on there now. I’m losing my faith (but at least The Apprentice starts in two weeks, and I’ll be finished my training so I’ll be home to watch it *woohoo*.
That’s it for now. You probably couldn’t handle any more of the excitement here.
