Two Movies
Last night I rented two movies, yes, two. I was at Rogers and there was really nothing there that I wanted to see, so I decided to take two of them. They were both comedies, or somewhat comedies.
Eulogy was the first movie and it wasn’t bad. It was amusing in the sense of putting the “fun” back into a “dysfunctional” family. I suppose I always look for the similarities to people in my own family when I watch stuff like this.
The second movie was The Upside of Anger. I’ve never minded Kevin Costner but my honey doesn’t think he can act. I didn’t mind him in this movie, mostly I guess because he was playing a kinda stupid guy and not trying to be a sex symbol.
He seems to have come to terms with less serious roles and I found him quite believable as the boyfriend. I can’t remember the actress’ name who played the starring role. I’ve seen her in lots of stuff, but I can only take so much of the anger.
It was ok, I guess. Not something I’d recommend to spend money on, but if it’s sitting around your house, you might as well watch it.
