Today’s Done
I went to my other interview this morning and I have no idea how that one went. Usually I have a good or bad feeling but I don’t have any feeling about this one.
And the sad part is, that all those interviews where I had a good feeling didn’t mean a damn thing any way, since I didn’t get the jobs.
The woman told me that she’d be doing second interviews for likely prospects, but since it turns out to be a two-person office (where I would be one of those persons) I don’t know WTF she needs a second interview for.
Anyway, we’ll see what, if anything, comes out of that one. In a two-person office, the personality fit is everything when determining who to hire out of the people who qualified.
So the other day I downloaded Voodoo Chat.
Chatting was my honey’s and my introduction to being online. I was told by a friend from the old chat that the whole gang had moved to Voodoo Chat, so on the weekend I’m going to walk her through an install and we’ll see if we can find any of our old buddies.
We used to go into the Divorce Room, because, after all, I have been divorced twice. I didn’t see a room like that on this chat so I think it will be difficult to find our old friends – especially if they’ve changed their names.
If anybody cares to try out this chat program with me, please email me and I’ll let you know what my user name is – since it’s not idiotonastick everywhere.
Now I’m going to go read my book, even though I’m only 100 pages through and I’m bored with it. The problem is, I’m also bored with my games.
I’m getting slow at Zuma even. Have I told you that my honey can play Zuma for hours on end? I can play it for about 15 minutes maybe. The problem with Zuma is that my honey will play it and that will make me want to start playing it. Then I’ll finish and he’ll start again, which makes me want to start again. Even though I’m getting crappier at it, so it’s pissing me off.
Time for reading. If this book doesn’t perk up within the next 50 pages, I may just put it to bed.

Shameless braggart! I have never gotten past 8-4 (and that’s on a good day). These days it seems that I crash and burn at level 5!
You might like to go get the new F.E.A.R. game, it’s FPS and I downloaded it the other day. I am finding it extremely hard but you’d probably excel at it (show off).
Well, I never start from the very first level in Zuma. I’m just trying to get forward. It’s good that when a level has been opened, it’s available automatically.
