Million Dollar Baby
I’ve decided that the new title for this movie will be, “Made me Cry Like a Baby”.
This was a fabulous movie (if you like movies that have you in tears). Both my daughter and I were sitting there sniffing and snorting last night. Not my honey, though.
I can see why this movie won so many awards, it was really, really well done.
How often do you hear me recommend a movie? How often have you heard me give such accolades? Never. You’ve never heard it from me.
I expected the usual predictable stuff… Clint Eastwood doesn’t want to train the boxing girl, he’s Mr. Gruff guy but she finally wins him over, yada, yada. But there was a little twist in this I didn’t expect.
So that means you should go rent it.
