Absolute Nothingness

Yes, that was my day, absolute nothingness. I went to Tim’s a couple of times, stopped at the convenience store, and that was about the size of it.

I played Zuma a bunch of times, and Half Life 2… there’s so much I’ve forgotten, and it’s so damned hard, I just stopped playing now cuz I wasn’t into that much work.

When my honey gets home from the kids tonight we’ll watch Rock Star INXS. Something on for a Monday. We saw it for the first time last week – well it just started last week. Not bad to see who it is they’ll pick for the new lead INXS singer. There were only a couple of good ones.

I looked for jobs in the paper, found a few and circled them, but didn’t bother sending my resume. I’ll do that tomorrow.

Did I mention I’m going for the second interview tomorrow afternoon? That’s provided the guy I’m supposed to meet with doesn’t have a board meeting. Nothing had been firmed up when they talked to me, so let’s say it’s tentative. But if they don’t call, I’ll be going to the interview at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon.

This job’s a 10-month to 1-year contract but I don’t care, as long as it’s something. Let’s hope it goes well. The woman I met at Starbucks certainly liked me, we’ll see if the Exec. Director likes me too, I guess.

So I think I’m gamed out, emailed out, surfed out – that’s all I’ve done all day.

We did use our new George Foreman grill for dinner tonight *woohoo* – here I am, George; spokesperson.

Maybe I’ll just go read my book. Sorry to wake you.
