What a Long Fricking Day
Well, even though our regular trainer wasn’t at the job today, and the other guy was as boring as dirt – he spoke pretty much in a monotone, the day finally ended and then I got laid. So it wasn’t a total wash out of a day. And now I’m just done in. But I’ve got a movie to watch.
I have to stay up late tonight since there’s no work tomorrow. I must take advantage of the day off. I can’t even remember the name of the movie I rented… it was nothing I’d heard of or even want to see, but there was nothing new at the video store for me to rent. Hopefully since Sigourney Weaver (big name) is in it, it’ll have some redeeming qualities.
Tomorrow I’ve got to study for a quiz on Monday. They couldn’t even give us a damned day of rest even though we worked through half the weekend.
And I asked the trainer today if there was some place that, on our lunch hours, we could get on the net, check our emails, yada, yada, but, no. There is not. There is no getting on the net except for going to the client’s website.
Y’know, I could probably come home on my lunch hour. It would probably only take me 10 minutes and then 10 minutes back. Not just to get on the net, but because it would probably be a helluva lot more interesting than going to sit in my air conditioned car and trying to gorf down a coffee and a sandwich. I may give that a try one of these days.
Although since I’ll be working evenings, I suppose my lunch hour would be around 5:00. I suppose if I were doing that I could come home and see my snookey for half an hour and then go back to work. None of those lunch hour quickies, though, half an hour might accidentally turn into, “oops, I’m late for work”.
Ok, I’m gonna go try to stay awake through a movie I don’t want to see. I guess I’m not getting enough exercise.
