I was Up Early

Yes I slept on the couch last night. I was feeling done and my honey didn’t seem tired at all, so I just crashed.

My daughter had wanted to watch the White Noise movie with us, and I let her, but she was having a little trouble sleeping, and, at some point in the night, she decided she must sleep on the other couch in the living room with me.

I guess she’s not ready for horror movies yet – or this one particularly spooked her.

It wasn’t a bad movie, the usual predictable stuff but not bad in the frights. At one point some scream scared the crap out of us and I was jumping around trying to find the remote while she was holding my hand. That was scary too – I couldn’t move my hand.

So I’d say go ahead and rent it if you want a jolt here and there.

We’re doing nothing today, just chillin’ man. Maybe we’ll measure inside the trunk. We want to store the CDs and DVDs in there, so we’ve got some wood (or pretend wood) to buy to make some kind of racks.

We ran out of space for our DVDs a while ago, even though it hadn’t been my intention to have a library of movies again, like I used to have with VHS’s.

So I guess I’ll get some clothes on, take the movie back, stop at Tim’s (but of course) and go to Home Depot.

I just found out my son is able to make the birthday dinner tomorrow night after all, so that’s good, a family occasion.
