Congrats, Carrie!
I can’t believe it. I’m so ecstatic that Carrie won the American Idol.
She has a beautiful voice, best showcased in the type of song that Celine Dion would sing, or with a heartfelt country song (even though I hate country music).
I was very happy that Bo Bice came in second. As I said yesterday, I fully expected the Americans to vote him in as the Idol.
While I think that he was very talented, his voice is not quite the match to Carrie’s.
You know damned well that both of them will end up with recording contracts. Not only that, but probably half the others who competed have already signed onto something too.
I look forward to hearing more from these two, but especially from Carrie.
Let’s just hope they write some half decent songs for her, not like some of the drivel that previous Idols have recorded.
