More Groceries
We went over to the Super Centre after work tonight, only because they have cooked food there as well and we were gonna go to Highland Farms but they just have a sandwich bar (and bakery).
So I had my dinner from the Super Centre… 5 barbecue wings and some Neptune Salad. The wings weren’t bad but I thought the seafood salad was pretty flavourless. I couldn’t eat it all so I gave half to my honey who had some honking big turkey sammich for dinner.
We picked up a few things and, of course, it was $70. Can you not just go to a grocery store these days and spend $20 to pick up a few of the essentials? WTF? Even gas this morning was at 92.8¢. Are we in the middle of a war? The prices just fluctuate daily – sometimes 3 different prices in a day even.
So I’m keeping myself busy. I’m not gonna get laid again tonight. Might as well recuperate wholly and watch American Idol since we only got home about 15 minutes ago.
I guess that means I won’t have any time to reinstall some more programs tonight. Ah well, I need some time away from that too.
There was a woman in the line behind me at the Super Centre who just wouldn’t shut up. She started talking to me and then she never finished – like she and I were long-lost twins separated at birth or something. I don’t mind being friendly, but come on… leave me alone.
