The Talent Show

So today was my half day off work so I could go see my daughter in her talent show.
Unfortunately, I am not a videographer, and so I was unable to tape her actually singing, but you’ll get the idea (and something’s broken on our videocam, so it wouldn’t matter anyway). And if you don’t know the song at all, it was KellyClarkson-Breakaway.
Let me tell ya, my daughter was fabulous, dahling, simply fabulous. And I don’t say that because I love her, I say that because she sounded just fabulous.
There were all the school kids in the audience whispering to each other, saying “wow”, “she’s a good singer”, “she’s really good” and she was. I’ve heard her sing before, here at home, but with a mic in her hand and the music in the background, she sounded really great. I’m happy for her.
That was about the extent of my afternoon, other than getting laid. What the hell, I was home. And then I decided to take myself up on my fantasies of late and we ordered some greasy Kentucky Fried Chicken. I am still full. I had 3 pieces of chicken.
I feel like having more but I’ll probably be all bloated up tomorrow and I’ll be pissed off at myself for eating the junk food.
Anyway, still blogging at my daughter’s computer. I didn’t even bother calling the computer guy today, after all, it hasn’t been FIVE days has it?
Once this is done, I don’t know if I’ll ever use him again. I’m pissed off at his care for his regular customers. But that’s another issue. I don’t want to start getting mad, so I won’t even go there.

is the new 30. I want the world to close their mouths when they’re eating or chewing gum. If they don’t, I want to elbow them in the face.
Looks like she did very well, nice to see a proud mum, go on about her kids when there really is some talent involved.
