I’m Here Again
I did a little shopping today and it all started at Weight Watchers. They had these snack bars (chocolate caramel, and peanut butter chocolate) that looked yummy and they were only two points each. They also had a special, 2 for $15, so I bought two boxes.
It only occurred to me right now, after eating one of them, and it wasn’t bad, that there are only 4 in a box. Four in a box and I paid $15 for two boxes. WTF is that? You’d think they were seafood or something for those kinda prices. I won’t be buying them again, no matter how good they are. I don’t even like sweets for the most part, just bought them in case I wanted them.
Then when I took my daughter to piano, and was headed towards Winners, there was another little store beside it where I decided to buy myself the cutest little blue jean and long jacket set. It was on sale, so I be laughing.
I never wear blue jeans. I have a few pairs of them but I never wear them. I don’t even know if they fit me. Hold on… I’m gonna go try them.
Ok, ya, they fit, although a little snugly. I wouldn’t want to eat a big meal and wear them. Anyway, the new blue jeans fit but they’re too long. I was gonna take them to the dry cleaners to hem them, but instead I think I’ll wash the whole outfit first. You know they’re bound to shrink up.
Maybe on Fridays I’ll then wear blue jeans for dress-down Friday. But a dressier looking dress down than just blue jeans. I already have a blue jean jacket too – the regular, short kind. It’s Calvin Klein doncha know. I think I’ve worn it once.
While I was out I also picked up this cute little cell phone holder. I couldn’t resist it, not that I needed it, but it was so damned cute I just had to have it.
I also got one for my daughter in green, since green is her favourite colour. Doesn’t everybody need one of these? No? Ok, it’s just me.
Tonight I didn’t rent a movie cuz we’re gonna watch more of the 24 DVDs. We watched last night – I think it was 3 episodes, but I fell asleep on the couch through the third one so we may have to watch the end of that one again so I know what the hell the whole thing is about.
So right now my daughter is in chatting on her computer, I’m sitting here trying to get different plugins to work the way I used to have them, and I’m just waiting for my snookie to get home so we can watch the DVD.
It’s another exciting night in the stick household. Maybe I’ll make some popcorn.
